second flower. ACTION & VOICE.
[ It's early morning when Prim makes her post. She almost never does this - well, hasn't done since last year, and how time flies, she hadn't even noticed - because she's always simply talking to people in person or responding to the things other people say, instead. But it's nearly been a year. It will have been, in a little over one month.
She'll be fifteen, then, too. It's odd to think of. ]
It's gardening season again. I really actually missed it, although there's always something to do...it's just that there's not much to do in the winter except to check that nothing's getting too damaged by the weather and...well, to prepare for this time of year. I think I'll put in more flowers, next month, but I'm not sure what types as of yet.
[ ...Anyway, she did actually have a question. ]
If you want to have a picnic here, where would you personally go? Just in your own yard, or is there anyplace that's really nice in particular?
[ ...It's not a very in-depth question, but she's planning ahead for May, for a quiet celebration with her sister. ]
Oh, and...if you're looking for a job, you might want to talk to Rin at Seventh Heaven. We're a little understaffed in the cooking department, again, although I'm doubling up there in addition to waitressing shifts, sometimes. It's nice. Mecha Sanji's sort of a little bit to get used to, but...
[ Eventually you just sort of get used to random robots? In Luceti, at least. Or, well, he...it?...seems to mean well so whatever. ]
Anyway, that was all. Time to start in on it.
[ "It" being the garden outside of house 43. There are weeds shooting up now, and that means weeding has to be done. And she has to clear out any sections of the garden where she'd like to plant something new, or plant something to start with, so...Prim can be found pretty much all day at work there, looking amiable despite the dirt and effort. ]

[Your book is shouting at you: It's a heat of the moment declaration inspired by her off-hand comment.]
I am going to challenge Mecha Sanji!
[Voice]
No she should be used to this by now since she works at the same place as him. Lee is not quiet by nature or nurture. ]
...To what? A cooking battle?
[ Please tell her it's a cooking battle, they don't need an ACTUAL battle in a place where people eat. Probably. ]
[Voice]
[Voice]
In that case, I'll cheer you on. What dish will the opening battle be with?
[Voice]
In that case, Prim-san, would you please do me a favor? As an impartial third party... Please, select a dish!

Yeah, so he's still a little giddy. There's a big smile on his face when he answers.]
If you're thinking about going on a picnic now, try the hill where the cherry blossoms are. They're in bloom right now, so it's an awesome place to eat and hang out for a while. I went there just a little while ago...
[voice]
[ She's not seeing anyone, so that might sound off, but Prim clarifies after a second. ]
With Katniss. For being here.
[voice]
With Katniss, huh... That sounds like a good thing for her. [This place may suck, but considering Katniss's world, and what happened to Prim there...] The trees probably won't be blooming by then, but it's still a really good view of the village and everything. We can check it out later if you want to!
[voice]
I'd like that, if you can spare the time. I know it's just a little far in advance, but...well, as long as we're making plans, I want to make good ones.
[ It'll be their birthday month, too. Prim and Katniss, born in May. ]

Even though he really, really doesn't feel up for it at all. Haru-chan's gone, Rin-chan's gone. He hasn't seen Annie-chan in awhile...
But he is determined not to let himself get too down. Or at least not to show it.]
Once it's warmer and we can actually swim in it, I'm planning a picnic-party-thing on the beach.
voice:
A picnic-party-thing? That sounds like a great idea, really. I...still haven't spent much time on the beach. Someone offered to take me sailing once, but they left.
voice:
[Because, like her, he likes meeting people. And the best way to feel better about his friends not being here is to make new friends. Like in middle school!]
voice:
[ Never had cause or reason to do it, really. ]

You could try planting tulips! They come in many different colours and they look very beautiful when they all bloom together. Oh, and daffodils as well!
[Voice]
I'm Prim, by the way.
[Voice]
It's nice to meet you Miss Prim, my name is Erica Fontaine.

[ Growing things. Their father had liked that. ]
It's nice to meet you, Erica. [ PRETTY SURE SAN DOES NOT APPLY HERE, thank goodness. ] Have you been in Luceti long?

But the garden, at least, is just the right size for two to work on. And, quietly, she approaches her sister. Even if gardening is not her strong suit, she trusts Prim to guide her. And she's never minded getting dirty.]
Do you know what kind of flowers you want? I can look for some while out in the woods.
[action]
Granted, Buttercup and India are still here as well, but it's...quiet. Without Richard, Effie, Rue. ]
Anything with color. Maybe some Primroses, too?
[action]
I'll see what I can do. [And it's a promise she'll keep, trying to find the nicest flowers to bring back to the house.] What about right now?
